Delete Your URWAY Account

You can delete your URWAY account and the personal data linked to it at any time. This page explains how to do it, what gets deleted, and what we keep.

Delete your account in the app

1. Open the URWAY app and sign in.
2. Tap Profile in the bottom bar.
3. Tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm by tapping Yes, Delete.

Your account is deleted right away and you are signed out of the app. There is no waiting period and no way to undo it.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot sign in, or you no longer have the app installed, email info@driveurway.com from the email address on your account with the subject line “Delete my account”. We will confirm your identity and delete the account within [30] days.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted, URWAY removes:

• Your account: name, email address, password, date of birth, and any linked Google or Facebook sign-in
• Your profile: photo, bio, home location, and preferences
• Your garage: vehicles, maintenance logs, and attached photos, videos, and invoices
• Your location data: live location, route history, saved and bookmarked routes, and completed drives
• Your club memberships, event RSVPs, and check-ins
• Your push-notification token and device identifiers

What is kept, and for how long

• Posts and comments in clubs stay visible to club members, with your name and photo removed, so conversations keep their context. Email us if you want them removed as well.
• Routes you made public are either deleted or kept without your name, depending on whether other users have saved them.
• Payment and payout records (paid club memberships, club earnings, Stripe transactions) are kept for [7] years for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention reasons, as required by law.
• Crash and analytics data is already de-identified and is kept for up to [14 months].
• Reports, moderation records, and security logs may be kept where needed to investigate abuse or comply with legal obligations.

Backups that contain your data are overwritten within [30] days of deletion.

Subscriptions

Deleting your URWAY account does not cancel a URWAY Pro subscription. Cancel it first in Google Play or the Apple App Store, or you may keep being charged:

• Google Play: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → URWAY Pro → Cancel
• Apple App Store: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → URWAY Pro → Cancel

Paid club memberships end when your account is deleted.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You do not have to delete your account to remove individual items. In the app you can:

• Delete vehicles and maintenance logs from your garage
• Delete routes you created
• Delete your own posts and comments
• Leave clubs and events
• Edit or clear your profile details under Profile → Edit Profile
• Turn off location or notification access in your phone settings
